WAS ADOLPH HITLER A CHRISTIAN?

Adolph Hitler was the leader of Germany from 1933-1945. It was a horrible time; a world war was fought from 1939-45, a war caused mainly by Hitler and his desire to rule Europe and control the world.

Millions died, including over 6 million Jews, because of this madman's evil ambitions. Some people say that Hitler was a Christian and based his actions on his "Christian" beliefs. At best this is a misunderstanding of what a Christian is. At worst, it's a lie said to make Christians look like monsters.

Adolph Hitler was a beleiver in contacting spirits for wisdom, guidance and power. The Bible clearly forbids such a practice.

Hitler blamed Jewish people for all of the world's problems and wanted to wipe them out. The Bible clearly says that Jewish people are very special to God and warns against anyone seeking to do them harm in any way.

Hitler killed and/or imprisoned thousands of Christians in his country who opposed his evil plans.

Hitler said in his writings that after he got rid of the Jews, he was going to destroy all the Christians. He considered Christianity, with its teachings of love and forgiveness, as being wimpy and a curse on man's progression to greatness.

Hitler chose the Swatsika as the symbol of his political party (Nazi). Some believe the use of the cross proves Hitler was a "Christian." However, the Swatsika is actually used as a religious symbol in many Eastern, non-Christian religions*. Until Hitler, it had never been used by Christians in any way, shape or form.

Hitler never publicly spoke in Biblical terms about his faith in Jesus Christ as his Savior and never encouraged others to do the same. He never showed any evidence of being a true believer and actually expressed plans to wipe out those who believed the Bible and had faith in Jesus.

Adolph Hitler was not a Christian. He was as evil as anyone could be and deserves the scorn of history for all the misery he caused during his lifetime.

Just because someone says they are a Christian (or others say they are) doesn't make it true. Look for the evidence.

No one is perfect and real believers do some pretty bad things but no true Chrisitan would do and say the things that Adolph Hitler said and did.

*This doesn't mean that those involved in Eastern, non-Chrisitian religions are fanatical haters and killers liker Hitler. He was a madman and it's unfortunate that he chose a symbol revered by millions upon millions of peace-loving people.

WHY SHOULD I TRUST THE BIBLE? IT TEACHES THAT THE WORLD IS FLAT!

Actually, the Bible teaches no such thing. In the book of Isaiah, it says the world is shaped like a circle (some versions use the word "sphere.")

Some leaders in the early days of the church, started teaching that the world is flat. They based this on what they saw and believed was scientific "proof." (The leading scientists at that time believed the world was flat, too.)

The church leaders rejected the clear teaching of scripture so as to not look unintelligent.

That was their major mistake, not the Bible's.

Even though the Bible touches areas of science, it is not a science text book. When it speaks to science, it is accurate and trustworthy. But it doesn't answer every question one might have about the nature of the world around us.

It would be a good idea to fact-check any criticism you might hear about what the Bible supposedly says on scientific issues.

"Smart" people, in and out-of-the-church, have gotten it wrong in the past.
They're not perfect and can get it wrong today too.
Bible Seeds: Isaiah 40:22; Romans 1:22

Hi! Hopefully, you'll find this blog useful. Please take time to look up the "Bible Seed" references included in the posts; those give the scripture framework for the conclusions presented on the link.

Bible references were left out of the main text because they seem to slow-down reading time. However, users of the material on this site should know that the scripture listed in the "Bible Seed" section are actually much more important than the explanation given.

Although I believe the mini-teachings on this site are true and accurate, they are not directly inspired by God as is the Bible.

SUMMER LEAVES is dedicated to the discussion of stuff in the Bible (hopefully without being boring!)
